Interviews with the Winners at the 2022 Juno Opening Night Awards

The winners of the Juno Opening Night Awards  https://junoawards.ca   were handed out (Saturday May 14th, 2022) at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. 

Some of the nights winners included Charlotte Cardin taking 3 awards including Pop Album of the Year for ‘Phoenix”, The Weekend received two including Contemporary R&B Album of the Year for ’Take My Breath”, Brett Kissel, Country Album of the Year for ‘What is Life’, Savannah Ré, Traditional R&B/Soul Recording of the Year for ’24’, Serena Ryder, Adult Contemporary Album of the Year for ‘The Art of Falling Apart’, Colin James, Blues Album of the Year for ‘Open Road’, Monowhales, Breakthrough Group of the Year, WondaGurl, Jack Richardson Producer of the Year, The Beaches, Rock Album of the Year ‘Sisters Not Twins’, DJ Shub, Contemporary Indigenous Artist or Group of the Year ‘War Club’ & Charmaine, Rap Single of the Year for ‘Bold’.  Rudy Blair Entertainment Media rudyblairmedia.com was at the Q&A Stage to speak with some of the winners, nominees and performers.
