Who is Rudy Blair?

Rudy Blair is a music and entertainment reporter, host, MC, and radio and television personality who has been in the broadcasting industry for almost 30 years. Out of those years, 23 were spent with 680News as the Music & Entertainment Reporter. He was there for many artists at the beginning of their careers and helped to give them their first national interview spotlight including Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Michael Buble, Avril Lavigne, and The Tenors.

Rudy has covered several big events including The Grammys, The Junos, The Much Music Video Awards, The Canadian Screen Award, and Canadian Walk Of Fame. He has also won several honours including 16 Radio-Television News Directors Association National and Regional Awards, The Harry Jerome Award, inducted into the Humber College Radio Broadcasting Hall Of Fame, The Vaughan Road Academy Hall of Fame, and received an Honorary Degree from Humber College. While appearing on several television shows, reporting for CityNews, and having his own Rogers Television show, he not only interviewed many of the top music acts in the business but also new indie artists in helping them to gain exposure.
