The 2017 Polaris Music Prize was handed out last night (Monday September 18th,2017) at The Carlu in Toronto. The PMP is an award for the best Canadian album of the year and it’s chosen by music critics. The winner receives 50 thousand dollars. This years top 10 short list nominees included We Are The Halluci Nation by A Tribe Called Red, Pleasure by Feist, You Want It Darker by Leonard Cohen and Secret Path by Gord Downie.
