The Canadian Screen Awards https://www.academy.ca/awards/  took place Sunday March 11th, 2018 at Toronto’s Sony Centre for the Performing Arts.  Some of the nights big winners included Maudie  – Best Motion Picture, Sally Hawkins- Best Lead Actress for the  Film Maudie, Nabil Rajo – Best Lead Actor for the Film “Boost, Baroness von Sketch Show (CBC)- Best Sketch Comedy Program or Series, Catherine O’Hara- Best Lead Actress, Comedy  for the CBC series Schitt’s Creek , Tatiana Malsany won Best Lead Actress, Drama for her series Orphan Black and Margaret Atwood, author of Alias Grace & The Handmaid’s Tale received the Academy Board of Directors’ Tribute Award.  Rudy Blair Entertainment Media rudyblairmedia.com was in the press room where Margaret spoke about her latest honour.
