The nights winners included Shawn Mendes, Album of the Year for his self titled LP, Arkells for Group of the Year , bülow for Breakthrough Artist of the Year, Brett Kissel for Country Album of the Year for his LP We Were That Song, Jessie Reyez, R&B/Soul Recording of the Year for her recording Being Human In Public & music legend Corey Hart was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.
