This week the 52nd Annual Toronto Caribbean Carnival https://torontocarnival.ca  is in full swing .  The month long festival began in 1967 in Toronto and was supposed to be a one-time celebration of the Canadian Centennial in Ontario’s provincial capital city. Over a million people from around the world will visit the GTA  to “jump up” during carnival including the jewel of the festival, the Toronto Caribbean Carnival Grand Parade (Saturday August 3rd, 2019.)  Rudy Blair Entertainment Media rudyblairmedia.com   was on location at City Hall https://www.toronto.ca/  Nathan Phillips Square   https://www.toronto.ca/services-payments/venues-facilities-bookings/booking-city-facilities/city-squares/nathan-phillips-square/  for the official launch of the festival (Tuesday July 9th, 2019) to speak with Chris Alexander , Chief Administrative Officer of the FMC about tomorrows (Saturday August 3rd, 2019) LARGER  Caribbean Carnival Grand Parade, start time,  route and the new slogan for the parade…”Respect The Mass”.
