Review of Snoop Dogg & Wiz Khalifa “”High Road Sumer Tour 2016” at the Molson Canadian Amphitheater,

Saturday July 30th 2016

(Concert took place Friday July 29th 2016)

It was a very good day to be at a concert in Toronto  as Rap legend Snoopp Dogg and hip hop star Wiz Khalifa brought their “High Road Sumer Tour 2016”  to the Molson Canadian Amphitheater, beautiful sun and no humidity.  But the heat(and smoke) was building around the venue as music acts Drama, Casey Veggies and Jhene Aiko helped the 12 thousand in attendance get ready for the main event.  Have to give big props to Jhene Aiko. Brilliant vocalist and performer. And as that familiar “odor” from “Mary Jane” filled the air, so did the cheers and music, as Snoopp and Wiz took to the stage.  Snoopp started it off, walking on stage wearing shades and rapping into a gold mic. Wiz  followed wearing a tan baseball cap and also shades.  Both entrances brought fans to their feet, hands in the air and body’s shackin doggiesstyle. This was a great blend of Old and New skool as both traded time on stage while the bass was loud and thumping.   This was one of the smoothest concerts I’ve been too in a long time with great transitions between the two stars who you could tell respected each others talent and new how to connect with a crowed. It had all of the elements for a good show, giving fans just enough without going overboard.  They even set up a small stage to perform for fans sitting way back in the lawn area.  The one thing I can say is everyone who attended left on a “high note”.  I give the High Road Tour 3 and a half stars out of five.
