The 2021 Canadian Screen Awards where honours are given for artistic and technical merit in the film industry recognizing excellence in Canadian film, English-language television, and digital media productions begins Monday May 17th to Thursday May 18th. This year the 4 day event will be streamed live on Academy.ca along with the Academy’s YouTube and Twitter channels.at 8pm est. Some of this years nominees include for film Blood Quantum (10 nominations), Television Schitt’s Creek (21 nominations), Reality/Competition program Canada’s Drag Race (7 nominations) & Animated Series Corner Gas Animated and Hotel Transylvania: The Series (5 nominations).
