The Canadian Screen Awards https://www.academy.ca/awards/ took place Sunday March 11th, 2018 at Toronto’s Sony Centre for the Performing Arts. Some of the nights big winners included Maudie – Best Motion Picture, Sally Hawkins- Best Lead Actress for the Film Maudie, Nabil Rajo – Best Lead Actor for the Film “Boost, Baroness von Sketch Show (CBC)- Best Sketch Comedy Program or Series, Catherine O’Hara- Best Lead Actress, Comedy for the CBC series Schitt’s Creek , Tatiana Malsany won Best Lead Actress, Drama for her series Orphan Black and former host of CBC’s The National “Peter Mansbridge” received the Lifetime Achievement Award. Rudy Blair Entertainment Media rudyblairmedia.com was in the press room to ask Peter if he missed his former job and his future plans.
