The Canadian organization ( created by Ebonnie Rowe of Phemphat)  that ,since 1995, fostered the growth, education and promotion of women in all aspects of the music business and launched the careers of Grammy & Juno award winner Melonie Fiona  melaniefiona.com/  ,  Grammy nominee & Juno award winner Nelly Furtado https://www.nellyfurtado.com/   and  Juno award winner July Black  jullyblack.ca/ ,  HoneyJam honeyjam.com chose this years 20 artists.  These artists were picked from across Canada and  participated in several events including a music showcase that took place  Thursday August 22nd, 2019 at Toronto’s Mod Club themodclub.com/  (722 College Street). Rudy Blair Entertainment Media  rudyblairmedia.com  was on location at Toronto’s Daniel Spectrum danielsspectrum.ca  (585 Dundas St E) to speak with some of the new members of HoneyJam including Barbados recording artist Leigh Phillips https://www.facebook.com/leighpmusic/  .
