One of the most prestigious events taking place during CMW 2017 is the “Canadian Music and Broadcast Industry Awards”. The event celebrates the industry in several categories including Radio,Retail,Publishing,Music Venues and Record Labels. Another very special honour recognized was the “Rosalie Award”, named after Rosalie Trombley, renowned Music Director at Windsor-Detroit Top 40 powerhouse CKLW-AM “The Big 8″, The award recognizes Canadian women who have blazed new trails in radio. This years recipient is “Susan Marjetti”, “Executive Director of CBC Radio and Audio”.
