Today (Tuesday July 9th, 2019) was the kick off to the 52nd Annual Toronto Caribbean Carnival https://torontocarnival.ca .  The month long festival began in 1967 in Toronto and was supposed to be a one-time celebration of the Canadian Centennial in Ontario’s provincial capital city.
