A few weeks ago we were shocked to hear that the music retailer “HMV” was shutting down and closing their stores across Canada . It looked like it was the end of an era for music store chains since music lovers have watched other retailers close over the years including “Sam The Record Man”, “A&A Records and “Sunrise Records”. Wait?..I did Say “Sunrise Records” right? Because like you I heard they went out of business too. Well that statement doesn’t seem to be true because “Sunrise Records” is not only alive and well but also planning to move into key stores and areas vacated by “HMV” across Canada.
