Tragically Hip’s “Gord Downie” performed one of two concerts(the other in Ottawa) at Roy Thomson Hall(Friday October 21st 2016) called “Secret Path”. “Secret Path” is also the name of Downie’s forthcoming album, graphic novel and film. Proceeds from the concert goes to “The Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack Fund” to help improve the lives of First People. The Fund is focused on cross-culture education to support healing and recovery. On Sunday October 23rd ,2016 at 9pm(9:30 NT) CBC Television will air a one hour special based on Downie’s album and novel.
