One of the big events during the 2017 Juno weekend took place at Ottawa’s Lord Elgin Hotel. In honour of “MusiCounts 20th Anniversary” celebration, two 10 thousand dollar donations were made to two past TD Community Music Program recipients, “Status4”, a program that provides accessible music and media programs for youth in Winnipeg, and “OrKidstra”, a social development program for children aged 5 – 18 living in under-served areas of Ottawa.
