 The broadcast of the 48th Annual Juno Awards  is taking place Sunday, March 17 , 2019 at London’s Budweiser Gardens (The awards will be broadcast live across Canada on CBC-TV and CBC Radio, and will be live streamed at ).  This years big nominees include  Pop star Shawn Mendes , Grammy winner The Weeknd   and the DJ duo Loud Luxury  along with bülow .   Shawn Mendes received the most nominations with six, including  Artist, Songwriter, Album and Pop Album of the Year.  The Weeknd  follows with five including Artist, Album, Single, R&B/Soul Recording of the Year, and Fan Choice.  Rising stars bülow and Loud Luxury  each nabbing four nominations apiece and Grammy, Juno and Canadian Music Hall of Fame member Sarah McLachlan will host this year’s Juno Awards .    Rudy Blair Entertainment Media  was on the red carpet for the Juno Award nomination announcement (Tuesday January 29th, 2019) at the CBC Building in Toronto  to speak with some of the members of The Slocan Ramblers  (Alastair Whitehead, Darryl Poulsen,Adrian Gross) on the groups Juno nomination Traditional Roots Album of the Year for their album Queen City Jubilee.
