Today(Thursday June 1st,2017) was the kick off to the 50th anniversary celebration of the Caribbean Festival.
It was in 1967 when the 1st festival took place in Toronto and was supposed to be a one-time celebration of the Canadian Centennial in Ontario’s provincial capital city. Today over a million people from around the world take part in the month long festivities running from July 7th to August 7,2017.
