This year at the 2024 Juno Awards https://junoawards.ca a very special honour was announced . Each year, MusiCounts https://musicounts.ca/en/ ( a charity supplies instruments to schools & communities across Canada) recognizes a Canadian music teacher who inspires and has an impact on students with music education. The winner receives $10,000 cash donation towards their school music program as well as a crystal statuette based on the JUNO Award design. This years winner is Stephen Richardson from École St. Joseph School in Yellowknife, NT .
