Today (Tuesday January 28th, 2020) the 2020 Juno Award nominations   https://junoawards.ca/2020-juno-award-nominees/  were announced at Toronto’s CBC building.  The 49th Annual Junos will air live from the SaskTel Centre Sunday March 15th live across the country on CBC, CBC Gem, CBC Radio One, CBC Music, and the CBC Listen app. The awards will also be available for audiences outside of Canada to stream at cbcmusic.ca/junos at 8 p.m. ET (6 p.m. CT).  Nominees include first-time host of this year’s JUNO Awards Broadcast, Alessia Cara who also leads with a total of six nominations including Single of the Year, Album of the Year*, Artist of the Year and Tory Lanez received five nominations including Artist of the Year & Rap Recording of the Year.  Artists with three nominations included  Alexandra Stréliski, Bryan Adams, bülow,  Loud Luxury, NAV  & Shawn Mendes .  Rudy Blair Entertainment Media  rudyblairmedia.com  was on location to speak with Allan Reid  https://tinyurl.com/qv9prwo  , President & CEO – CARAS, The JUNO Awards and MusiCounts about todays announcement and multi platinum singer-songwriter, Alessia Cara https://tinyurl.com/t47r8x3  on her nominations and hosting the Junos.
