The 14th Annual CMAOntario Awards https://cmaontario.ca  took place Sunday, May 31, 2026 at  Port Credit Memorial Arena, 40 Stavebank Road, Mississauga, Ontario.   Some of the winners were  Owen Riegling – SINGLE OF THE YEAR (Taillight this Town), MALE ARTIST OF THE YEAR  & FANS’ CHOICE, Sacha – ALBUM/EP OF THE YEAR (Woman in the Mirror) & FEMALE ARTIST OF THE YEAR, Jessica Sevier – SONGWRITER(S) OF THE YEAR (Good to Drive) w  Robyn Ottolini and Derek Hoffman & BREAKTHROUGH ARTIST OF THE YEAR,   James Barker Band – GROUP OR DUO OF THE YEAR & COMPASS AWARD, School House – ROOTS ARTIST OR GROUP OF THE YEAR, Tyler Lorette – BREAKTHROUGH ARTIST OF THE YEAR & Sully Burrows – MUSIC VIDEO OF THE YEAR (Rally Around).    Rudy Blair Entertainment Media   rudyblairmedia.com   was there to cover the CMAOs and spoke with some of the winners, nominees and attendees including 2 time winner Jessica Sevier – SONGWRITER(S) OF THE YEAR (Good to Drive) w  Robyn Ottolini and Derek Hoffman & BREAKTHROUGH ARTIST OF THE YEAR, nominee Mitch Jean –  Francophone Artist Or Group Of The Year, nominee Andrew Hyatt – Album Of The Year and nominee Dave Thomson – Songwriter(S) Of The Year(Highway Money).
