The 45th edition of the Toronto International Film Festival https://tiff.net is in full swing (running from September 10–19). Because of the COVID-19 pandemic https://tinyurl.com/ there’s a different look for the festival as it has adopted a mix of physical screenings, drive-ins, digital screenings, virtual red carpets, press conferences, and industry talks. This year’s selection comprises a lineup of 50 new feature films, five programmes of short films, as well as interactive talks, film cast reunions, and Q&As with cast and filmmakers. One of the Short films that premiered at Tiff is a documentary is about recovering familial history, healing inherited pain, and understanding that love comes in many forms.
