Even though the 2020 Juno Awards https://junoawards.ca   (to take place in Saskatoon) was cancelled  because of the Coronavirus epidemic https://tinyurl.com/, one of the big  and prestigious events(called the jewel of the Junos) that was supposed to take place is now available in a five part series  on CBC Gem  https://tinyurl.com/y9f4ac2c  .  The “ JUNOS 365 Songwriters’ Circle series” is an intimate online concert from the homes of  some of Canada’s finest  and share their songs and stories.  Rudy Blair Entertainment Media  rudyblairmedia.com speaks with  Allan Reid (President & CEO – CARAS, The JUNO Awards and MusiCounts) about making the difficult decision on cancelling this years Juno Awards, what the JUNOS 365 Songwriters’ Circle series is all about, who will be performing this Friday, plans for when the 2020 Juno award winners will be announced and plans for next years 50th Juno Awards taking place in Toronto.
