The winners of the 2024 Juno Opening Night Awards Were handed out Saturday March 23rd 2024 at the The Halifax Convention Centre. This years winners include Tate McRae, Aysanabee & Tobi each have 2, Tate Single of the year for Greedy & Artist of the Year, Aysanobee Songwriter of the Year & Alternative Album of the Year for Here And Now and Tobi  Rap Album of the Year for PANIC and Rap Recording of the Year for Someone I Knew.  Producer/Recording Engineer Shawn Everett also receded 2 awards.   Other winners, The Beaches Rock Album of the Year for Blame My Ex, Daniel Caesar Contemporary R&B Recording of the Year for Never Enough, Kirk Diamond & Finn Reggae Recording of the Year for  Dread, Amanda Marshall Adult Contemporary Album of the Year for Heavy Lifting, James Barker Band Country Album of the Year For Ahead of Our Time, Okan Global Music Album of the Year for Okantomi and Feist Adult Alternative Album of the Year for Multitudes.  Rudy Blair Entertainment  Media  rudyblairmedia.com  was in the press room to speak with the winners, nominees and attendees and speaks with winners The Beaches Rock Album of the Year for Blame My Ex, Aqyila Traditional R&B/Soul Recording of the Year for Hello &  Kirk Diamond & Finn Reggae Recording of the Year for Dread .
