The 2025 Socan Awards  https://www.socan.com  were handed out Monday September 29th, 2025 at Rebel Toronto  https://rebeltoronto.com  ( 11 Polson St First Floor).   The SOCAN Awards is an annual event, held in both Toronto and Montréal, celebrates the songwriting, composing and music publishing achievements of our Anglophone and Francophone members alike.  Some of this years recipients included  Drake(who made history as the most-awarded songwriter in SOCAN’s century-long legacy and the most awarded in a single evening) .Joni Mitchell , Lowell, bülow , Nathan Ferraro,& Boi-1da .
